This disgusting overflowing waste bin is still an issue which is impacting on the residents of this once clean and charming Conservation Area. The commercial bin should not even be there, let alone be in this permanently hazardous and disgraceful state. It seems to get emptied sometimes but by the next day is ram-packed again and is overflowing with waste most of the week. In this recent heatwave particularly it gives off a vile stink and attracts flies and no doubt rats. Not only is it an environmental health hazard and extremely unpleasant and unfair for local residents, it is also impacting on residential property sales, putting off potential property buyers. This issue has been reported before and it is unacceptable that it is still ongoing.
